When you use Rummage, we may collect your approximate location (to show nearby sales), your email address (for account creation and verification), and any sale listings you publish, including address, photos, and contact information you choose to share.
Your location is used only to calculate distances to sales and is never stored on our servers. Your email is used to send a one-time verification code and, if you opt in, a daily digest of nearby sales. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising.
When you list a sale, the details you provide — address, dates, description, and contact info — are visible to other Rummage users within the app. You can remove your listing at any time from the List tab.
Rummage uses Resend (resend.com) to deliver verification codes and daily digest emails, and Apple's Sign in with Apple to let you sign in with your Apple Account. Your email address is passed to Resend solely for that purpose and is governed by their privacy policy. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Account data is stored locally on your device. If you sign out, your saved sales and preferences are cleared. We do not maintain a persistent server-side user database at this time.
You can stop using Rummage at any time. To request deletion of any data associated with your email address, contact us at the email below.
